Self-Care & Mindfulness

Self care is the beginning of self compassion.  It is the creation of a more positive mindset & about focusing on YOU!  It’s time to step back & reassess the things that create  a stirring in your soul.  What makes YOU happy?

Create some much needed time, grab a cup of tea, open up your heart space & grab some beautiful writing paper, a journal, as well as your favourite writing tool, and write! You can jot down your thoughts or create a gratitude list!

Take 10 minutes out of your day just for YOU.

Enjoy your hot cup of tea, put your feet up & feel what it is YOU need, is it a good book?  A nourishing bath, your favorite TV show!

Take a break everyday, just 10 minutes whilst bub/toddler naps & you will be filling up your cup & creating some much needed love for YOU!

Mindful Parenting-  an essential part of being a parent is about being & becoming mindful.  It is a lifelong practice.  It is about becoming less attached to the outcome & more mindful of what is unfolding in front of you.  In yours and your children’s lives.

Being mindful aims to shift your focus of attention away from thinking to simply just observing.  Observe your thoughts, feelings & the sensations around you.

Stay present.  Be present.
